July July! Just returned from romps westward, and now the farmers return from play to get the farm back in planting shape. Florida gardening has plenty of tricks up its sleeve, none greater than the double summers. By August the fields will be overflowing with beans of all sorts, okra, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, collards, sweet potatoes, basil, peanuts, and mustard greens. The shadehouse will be packed with eager plants to be. And hopefully the rain will start to fall (at least moderately, lets not get too carried away here rain cloud).
