Fall Garden Consultation
Fall is fast approaching and that means it is the time for Florida Gardeners to start planning annual vegetable and herb gardens. If this is a daunting task for you, we can help with a Fall Garden Consultation! If you have had a consult with us before, maybe you want to check in for this next season and see what things you should start considering for the Fall/Winter.
We offer 1-2 hour gardening help/consultations. What is a Green Flamingo Garden Consultation? Here is a breakdown for you:
1. A 15 minute phone call to talk about your garden needs
2. 1-2 hours of actual help at your home garden with Farmer Liz
3. Customized materials and resources brought to you based upon what you need (examples include: planning help, heirloom seed choices, materials to start a compost pile, materials to start propagating seeds for transplanting, planting calendars)
4. A follow up email with more information and answering more questions after we have gardened together.
5. We charge on a sliding scale and you decide how much you can afford to pay.

For each of the CSA Season weeks you will receive local, seasonal and delicious vegetables from Green Flamingo and neighboring farms to fill your dinner table. Our fields at Green Flamingo are full of the most beautiful and fresh organic food that you can find!

NSB native, Elizabeth Dannemiller Merachnik, owns and operates Green Flamingo Organics. After gardening at Organic Farms across the country through WWOOF USA, Liz has come back to her home town to help bring organic produce to her community.

We are dedicated to making sure that all people in our community have the right to organic produce. In 2020 we started the Giving Garden, a garden space where 100% of the produce goes to our local food bank (Gifts of Love in Edgewater). If you want to get involved- contact us.
